1. Manage and maintain the optimal level of WIP inventory (often expressed in "days of WIP") to prevent bottlenecks while ensuring continuous production line feeding.
2. Ensure the timely and seamless issuance and movement of cut parts, fabric, and accessories from the cutting/stores to the sewing units, and subsequently through all finishing and packing stages.
3. Receive and execute daily/weekly production and input plans from the Production Planning & Control (PPC) department.
4. Oversee the timely issuance and segregation of necessary accessories (zippers, labels, threads, trims) against specific production orders and Bills of Material (BOMs).
5. Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly WIP reports, analyzing actual WIP levels against set targets and highlighting variances to senior management.
6. Maintain strong communication and coordination with the Cutting, Sewing, Quality Assurance (QA), Merchandising, and Stores departments to align on production schedules, material availability, and order priorities.
